At the Maine Women’s Lobby, we are really excited about the confirmation hearings of Sonia Sotomayor! Where will you be when Judge Sonia Sotomayor makes her opening statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee?

I know where I’ll be – Hattie’s in Hallowell.
It’s a “Judge Sotomayor Hearing Watch Party!”

Judge Sotomayor will be the country’s third woman confirmed to the nation’s highest court and the first-ever Latina nominated for this distinct honor. This is history in the making.
Yep, it’s gonna be history at Hattie’s in Hallowell.

We’re providing lunch, so skip your lunch break and leave the office early.

Hope to see you there!
