Maine Women To Stand in Opposition to Question 4
Portland, Maine – The Maine Women’s Lobby and Planned Parenthood of Northern New England will join with women from across Maine in opposition to TABOR II at a press conference in Monument Square on Thursday, October 1, at 10:30 am.

Kristi Hargrove
Kristi Hargrove is a Republican, a small business owner, and PTA leader from Crested Butte, CO. Kristi and her husband run a general contracting business called Hargrove Construction Co., Inc. She has four children: one who is in high school, two children who are in college in Colorado, and one who recently graduated from the University of Colorado. Kristi has been active in her local PTA for many years and at the state level for four years. She became active in the fight against TABOR when she realized the impact TABOR was having on her children’s schools. Kristi participated in the passage of a local mil levy override to help defray the losses from the state budget reductions. She then participated in local and statewide civic education efforts regarding TABOR and helped fight for its suspension. She is currently the Treasurer of her local PTA, Director of Leadership for the Colorado State PTA, and Chairman of the District Advisory Accountability Committee for her school district.
