Yes, give them a few days of sick leave a year. It is the only right thing to do. It is the only compassionate thing to do.
I have a friend who always, always, always shows up to work. His track record is outstanding. Oh, he comes down with the same sicknesses you and I do……but because of his relatively low wages, his one-income household and his work is his only income……..he has to work even when he is sick. It’s about time we give these people a break!
If employers refuse to give this………make them do it with your LD 1665.
Yes, it is about time. I favor LD1665.
