When workers are free to choose to join a union, our economy can work for everyone again. That’s why we need the Employee Free Choice Act — a bill in Congress that would help levels the playing field and give workers the freedom to choose a union. The freedom to join a union would especially help working women. Women with union representation earn 32 percent more than women who work in non-union jobs. In 2008, that meant that a woman with union representation earned over $10,000 more than her non-union counterpart. We know that Senator Olympia Snowe cares about making life better for women in Maine. Please, take a moment to sign our open letter to Senator Snowe at:

We are trying to generate 500 signatures of support by Friday, so please pass this link a long to your friends – one short email can help improve the lives of working women.

Not convinced? Listen to what Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has to say about the importance of the Employee Free Choice Act:
Click here to view the embedded video.
