Charlotte
Warren serves as Associate Director of the Maine Women's Lobby and the
Maine Women's Policy Center. Her
responsibilities include planning and conducting membership outreach and
communications, managing press work, directing
online communications, and overseeing the organizations' grassroots,
education,
and research operations.
Charlotte is the Mayor of Hallowell, Maine, a
seat she was elected to in November 2009, after serving as a City
Councilor for eight years, including as City Council President for two
years.
Charlotte earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Maine at Farmington and graduated as an Honors Scholar. Additionally, she earned a Master of Science degree in Adult Education from the University of Southern Maine and a Master of Social Work degree in Organizational & Community Practice from the University of New England.
Charlotte served as a Faculty in Residence member of the Maine NEW Leadership program. She serves as a board member of the Hallowell Food Bank. She is a 2011 Champions Board member of the Maine Girls Collaborative Project, and a National Delegate to Drexel University’s Vision 2020.
